What does freedom mean to you?
Video Blogger
Freedom to express...
We are running a competition to launch summer 2021 with the title 'What does freedom mean to you?'

Coming out of Lockdown makes us think of our freedom, so this summer we are asking you to make a short video or film that describes what Freedom means to you. It could be a film with actor(s), it could be a documentary, an art piece, an interview, animation - whatever you want, using whatever equipment is accessible to you - even a mobile phone.

Selection & Award
All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will go through the videos and make a selection of young people based on their submitted videos to be admitted onto our 6-week summer bootcamp where young people will be given the skills and confidence to pursue a career in the media industry.

Read more about our summer bootcamp here.

In addition to gaining a space onto our 6-week intensive summer training, the best 3 video entries will receive cash prizes totalling £500, which will be awarded as follows:

  • 1st Place - £250
  • 2nd Place - £150
