Food & Essential Needs Support

Following the most recent Government's announcement of the nationwide restrictions to public life, COVID-19 has had a massive impact on young people with the loss of routine and social isolation being a major factor. The young people we support can no longer access support and services like they used to before the outbreak in 2020, as they have been affected by the restrictions put in place including the closure of schools, not being able to attend peer support groups and because face-to-face services could not be done anymore unlike before.

Given the rise in number of cases, it is important that everyone follows the government guidance and we are doing everything we can to encourage young people to adhere and stay home. As a result of these changes, we have been offering and will continue to offer remote support to young people through virtual means, over the phone or via video calls, as well as face to face where absolutely necessary and where virtual means isn't sufficient, while importantly ensuring that any group sizes are small and also ensuring the government's guidelines are being adhered to.
