Empowering Teenagers & Young Adults

Youth PWR Charity in partnership with Start Up Croydon are offering young people in Croydon and the surrounding areas the opportunity to gain skills in digital media production through the YDM Project which will develop their employability prospect in the media industry. Young people will receive training in film and video production enabling them to tell their own stories and those of their communities. The courses are facilitated by industry experts, working on feature films, TV and commercials such as cinematographers, directors, editors, writers, animators, producers and actors. We will also be running seasonal competitions and events to encourage young people into video and film production, with opportunities in work experience, mentorship and potential jobs. Below are our current youth digital media initiatives.
