The Rooms Project August 2024

This month, we had an incredible day out with The Rooms Project at Oxygen, a thrilling trampoline park that left everyone jumping for joy! If you’re a teenager aged 12 to 17, there’s no better time to get involved, meet new friends, and experience exciting activities like this one.

Read on to find out more about what made the day unforgettable!

The Rooms Project is all about providing young people with a safe, fun, and engaging space to come together and explore new activities. Every month, we organise unique outings, games, workshops, and challenges designed to help teenagers relax, connect with others, and develop new skills.

We headed to Oxygen, a trampoline park in Croydon. The park offers much more than just bouncing, it’s packed with exciting obstacle courses, slam-dunk areas, dodgeball zones, and even foam pits. The participants jumped around, showing off their best flips and tricks while building up stamina and coordination. While fun was a priority, the day at Oxygen was also a great way to stay active.

Trampolining is a fantastic cardio workout, improving balance, flexibility, and core strength. For many, it was a fun and creative way to exercise without even realising they were getting fit. After all that bouncing, everyone worked up quite an appetite! Youth PWR provided lunch, making sure the group was refuelled and ready for more fun. It was a great opportunity for the teenagers to sit down, relax, and chat about their trampoline experiences, forging new friendships in the process.
