Youth PWR Wins 'Best Youth Empowerment Charity' Award!

We are incredibly proud to announce that we have won the prestigious Non-Profit Organisation Award - 2024 for Best Youth Empowerment Charity. This award has been presented to us by the well respected company Acquisition international, who focus on highlighting the hard work and successes of non-profit organisations around the world.

Youth PWR has a plethora of programmes mainly focusing on the development of young people. The majority of our projects highlight the skills young people may need to get into a particular industry. We also maintain healthy relations with industry experts to also provide the young people with hands-on work experience. In 2023, we had 328 young people join at least one skills enrichment session which is a massive achievement and demonstrates the growth of our charity. In addition, Youth PWR visits schools and colleges to hold workshops and assemblies to discuss pressing issues and express how our charity can help young people.

Acquisition international judges were very impressed by our dedication and commitment to empowering the youth of this generation. Our diverse programmes help to shape the young minds of the local community and install confidence within young people. Youth PWR will continue to support and teach the youth of today to aspire for better futures. Adeola Onigbanjo, our CEO, said:

‘It means so much to us to have received this award. Getting recognition for our work leaves us with a rewarding feeling but also motivates us to work harder for young people and continue to empower and inspire the next generation of leaders.’

We want to thank all of our supporters, funders, sponsors, staff and volunteers who have followed and contributed to our journey, helping us along the way and enabled us to get to this point, allowing us to continue to empower young individuals and reach more young people.
